Intercultura Summer Teen Adventure and Spanish Camp

Monday to Friday, students receive 4 hours of intensive Spanish classes with certified, native Spanish speakers in our air-conditioned classrooms, where each teacher will have no more than 6 students. You will be amazed by how much Spanish you will learn in a short time. At night, you will practice your Spanish with your new Tico (Costa Rican) family, or have them help you with your homework or studies. At school, you will have many other opportunities to apply the language while learning how to cook a typical dish, practicing your new Salsa steps or watching a movie in Spanish.

Excursions to Poas Volcano and hiking to Los Chorros Waterfalls will introduce you to the natural beauty in and around the central valley, and visits to the colonial artisan town of Sarchi and the Café Britt Coffee Plantation will offer a deeper understanding of important Costa Rican traditions, culture and products. The 2nd session starting July 24th is spent in Heredia for a week while staying at a homestay and the second week is spent in beautiful Sámara Beach staying in a hotel with swimming pool and close access to the beach, where you will enjoy various activities such as: surfing, sea kayaking, beach-bonfires, biking, etc.

Whichever option you choose, after classes on Friday, you will head off to an exotic locations in Costa Rica where you will spend the whole weekend (2 nights 3 days) participating in a array of amazing activities like horseback riding, canopy tour (zip-lining), suspension bridges, visits to hot springs, waterfalls, boat tour, snorkeling, and eco-hikes, where you may see white-faced monkeys, howler monkeys, sloths, brightly multi-colored crabs, dragon iguanas and scarlet macaws.
