Island Escapades

Island Escapades offers campers a dynamic, safe, wholesome experience.  One that provides enrichment in many dimensions such as: skill development, physical endurance, outdoor education, leadership rolls, planning and preparing good nutritious food, and nurturing friendships. 

Our day camps are for ages 8-12 and are action packed full of outdoor fun and learning. Campers are taught kayaking skills and rescues on the lake before heading on the ocean to experience the beauty of our unique coastline.

Our Expedition based camps are for ages 12-18. Whether complete novices, or or outdoor veterans, participants achieve a high level of competence in many activities. The programs are diverse, challenging and exhilarating.

Island Escapades emphasizes personal growth and skill acquisition in natural settings that are beautiful and inspiring.  Small groups of youth spend time together under the instruction and supervision of certified, highly knowledgeable guides.  Together they explore the amazing coastal environment, learning or enhancing mountain and marine skills.
