Camp Speers-Eljabar YMCA

Less than 1 hours from NYC or 2 hours from Philadelphia in north east Pennsylvania, Camp Speers-Eljabar YMCA provides unlimited opportunities for campers to explore & enjoy an array of activities & adventures. Swimming, canoeing, kayaking, sailing, horseback riding, rock climbing, ropes courses, archery, riflery, arts & crafts, ceramics, games, team sports, photography, digital arts, mountain biking and drama are just a few of the activities campers may choose to enjoy. 

Strong, positive, nurturing relationships between campers and staff form the foundation upon which campers confidently explore activities, develop skills, lead healthy lifestyles, gain confidence and form lasting friendships. 

Our 1,100 acres of Pocono mountain woodlands features a private 42 acre lake, modern cabins & dining facilities, extensive trails, equestrian center, sports fields and more.  In addition to our Traditional Camp Programs for boys and girls entering 3rd  11th grades, we offer Equestrian, Service Project & Leader Development Specialty Camps.   1 & 2 week sessions up to 8 weeks. ACA, CHA and YMCA Accredited.
