Amazing trips in amazing places need amazing leaders!
Bold Earth Adventures is about teenagers, adventure travel, community service, leadership and learning. Venture to the western U.S., Hawaii, Alaska, Europe, Costa Rica, South America, Africa, Asia or the South Pacific. Camp, rock climb, mountain bike, sea and river kayak, canoe, raft, backpack, surf, ski/snowboard, horseback ride, ice climb, sail, SCUBA, windsurf or study a foreign language. As a trip leader, you'll spend 4-9 weeks during the summer months facilitating group dynamics with 12-16 teens while teaching a broad range of adventure travel skills along with an experienced senior leader. | Job Qualifications
|
21 years old by June 30, 2012.
College graduate, or in the process of completing a degree.
A maximum of one moving violation on your driving record in the past three years. A minimum certification by June 1 of Wilderness First Responder or Advanced Wilderness First Aid, Adult Wilderness EMT and Life guarding are highly recommended. Enthusiasm and commitment to working hard to provide a positive experience for teenagers. Previous work experience and responsibility with teenagers. Ability to work effectively and responsibly in a team situation. Patience, enthusiasm, safety consciousness, organizational skills and flexibility. Possess proven decision making skills.
