Camp Description

Wildwood's Teen Adventure Trips are designed to provide fun, appropriate challenges for teens with all levels of outdoor experience. Trip groups are coed and consist of two leaders and five to eight campers. With a focus on learning about the environment, teens gain valuable experience and skills in hiking, backpacking, rock climbing, sea kayaking, biking, and low-impact camping.

After a day of group building and orientation, teen campers and their trip leaders leave the base camp at Monadnock Conservation Center (Wildwood's home) and head into the wilds of New England. Along the way, they will meet with environmental professionals and natural history experts and learn firsthand about natural science and conservation. Each trip group also completes a brief service project, allowing teens to leave a positive mark on one of the special places they visit.
